The Fairchild Books Library is the world’s largest digital collection of fashion textbooks.

In addition to the texts, the Library delivers instant access to teaching and learning resources specific to each book, such as lesson plans, quizzes, flashcards, videos and timelines.

  • Interactive timeline allows students to click through the timeline from ‘The Ancient World’ to ‘The New Millennium: 2000-2014’ and discover the historical context. The historical context is broken down into ‘Religion and Society’, ‘Economics and Trade’, ‘Politics and Conflicts’, ‘Technology and Ideas’ and ‘Decorative and Fine Arts’.
  • STUDIOs allow students to personalise their study with multiple choice questions and quizzes with scored results, personalised study tips, flashcards with definitions and image identification, downloadable files and exercises, videos exploring chapter topics, maps and timelines and audio resources.
